The B196 licence allows you to ride a motorcycle or scooter with a maximum power of 15 hp (11 kW). The motorcycle or scooter (with or without sidecar) must have a maximum engine capacity of 125 cc. The maximum speed is normally between 90 and 100 km/h. However, this may vary due to the type of construction. The ratio between the vehicle and its own weight must not exceed 0.1 kW/kg.
Regardless of whether you prefer to do the training on an automatic scooter or on a manual. You can drive both small motorcycles and automatic scooters with the key number.
The driving license class B196 does not cost much. The DriveX Fast Lane Package not only includes one day of driving training with specially trained two-wheeler professionals, but also drinks and snacks. And it all costs just €1199 at DriveX.
For comparison: The almost identical motorcycle license class A1 costs between 3000€ and 3500€.
You will learn exactly what is important when riding a two-wheeler and you can ask our professionals on site all the questions you can think of. The course consists of 360 minutes of theoretical training and 5x 90 minutes of practical exercises. The theory takes place at DriveX on Friday 18:00 - 21:00 and on Saturday from 09:00 - 12:00. The practical training always takes place on Saturdays.
There is no exam! At the end of the day you go home with a certificate of attendance, which you submit to your driver's license office.
In addition to the Fast Lane Package, you can also book a 2-day practical course. Here you come to DriveX Bogenhausen on 2 days and complete all the legally required practical hours.
